This Privacy Policy describes how Keelstead ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Discord bot, Twitch bot, web portal, and related services.

  • Discord Account Information: Your Discord user ID, username, and avatar (provided by Discord when you interact with our services)
  • Platform Links: If you choose to link accounts (Twitch, YouTube, etc.), we store your platform username and OAuth tokens (encrypted)
  • Profile Data: Bio, crew memberships, and other profile information you provide

Information Collected Automatically

  • Command Usage: Which bot commands you use and when
  • Activity Data: Time spent in voice channels, stream watching time, chat activity (for point calculations)
  • Point History: Records of point earnings and perk redemptions

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and operate the Keelstead community platform
  • Track your point balance and achievements
  • Calculate rewards for participation in events and activities
  • Maintain leaderboards and community statistics
  • Display creator profiles and live status
  • Prevent fraud and abuse of the points system
  • Improve our services

Data Storage and Security

  • All data is stored on private servers with encrypted connections
  • Platform OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using Fernet encryption
  • Database backups are performed daily and stored securely
  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties
  • Access to user data is limited to Keelstead administrators

Data Retention

  • Active member data is retained while you are a member of Keelstead
  • If you leave the Discord server, your data is retained for 90 days before deletion
  • Banned members have their point balances frozen
  • You may request data deletion by contacting staff

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify members of significant changes via Discord announcement. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
